Four things a diesel fleet cannot do
This is not a diesel truck with the engine swapped out. The drivetrain, the steering, the wheels and the way the machine gets maintained were redesigned together rather than one at a time, which is why the four claims below hold at once.

The range starts at 200 metric tonnes of payload and runs up to 800 tonnes in the D8. Nothing else on the market carries that much.

More output from the same pit
Narrower haul roads leave more of the pit as reserve instead of road. That extra output goes straight onto the mine as profit, on top of what the haulage itself saves.

Nothing burns at the face
Every ETF machine is fully electric and harvests its retarding energy. No diesel engine, no turbine, so no emissions underground or on the bench, and very little noise.

95% technical availability
Components get exchanged rather than repaired on the vehicle. The truck goes back to work while the component is rebuilt in the workshop, which is why maintenance cost and downtime sit well below a diesel fleet.
Every model runs on the same haul road
Width is 7.6 m and height is 6.3 m right across the range, so an 800 tonne truck uses the same road as a 200 tonne truck. The bigger models are not built from different parts. They carry more of the same axles and wheels.

Because of the modular design there is always a truck that meets the requirements of the project. All types can be supplied in haul train configuration.
Less road means more mine
Steering on all wheels gives every ETF truck a very short turning radius. Trucks and haul trains both need a total haul road width of 24.16 metres. Comparable large haul trucks need between 3.68 and 7.22 metres more than that.
Those metres come off the pit wall and go back into the reserve. Across a mine that is somewhere between 1,656,000 and 3,249,000 BCM of extra output, from roads that also cost less to build and less to maintain.

Equipment is supplied only under an Integrated Mining Haulage Contract. ETF does the loading and the hauling, maintains the haul roads, and the mine pays a fixed amount per tonne.
